A talented author, artist, educator and consultant, Jan-Marie Esch was born in Indiana and spent her formative years growing up in So. California. Daughter of a scientist father and artist mother, she developed a keen interest in discovery and creative expression from an early age. There were few topics that didn’t interest Jan-Marie in school and she excelled in the arts and sciences. It was during her senior year that she was inspired by a spiritual path and began focusing her energy on self-awareness and creativity.

She received her B.A.Ed. and an M.S. in Organization Development from Central Washington University. Later she completed her Ph.D. in Leadership and Human Behavior at United States International University.  Her career spans positions with government, public and private sector companies that brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding about organizational structures and work processes.  She has worked with organizations on developing creative environments along with effective diversity training and communications skills.

On a personal note, being a parent and raising her son was one of her greatest pleasures. Nathan joined the Army Reserve a few months after Jan-Marie graduated with her Ph.D., and he later served in Afghanistan.  He was known by friends, family, and those he worked and served with as a deeply caring, fun-loving, social person. After returning to the US from Afghanistan, he decided to major in psychology so he could help people. Jan-Marie promised to help him with his education and complete the book that she had started writing so they could work together.  One year later, he was in a roll-over accident that took his life in 2006. The publication of “Windows Within” is a promise kept.

Jan-Marie lives in New Mexico. She is an inspired speaker and coach in the area of creativity.
